I have been dealing with the Dr Manish Kumar Jain since March 2022 for kidney transplant for my wife. The chapter closed with the death of my wife under Kidney Transplant Post Operation Care under Dr Manish Jain due to the carelessness and negligence of Apollo Hospital doctors. My wife was operated on for a Kidney transplant on 02.02.2023 and declared dead by the hospital on 12.2.2023.

Dr Manish Kumar Jain has not taken proper care as he does not have time for the patients. He has so much rush of work that he even does not remember the patient’s history. He is too arrogant, rude and self-obsessed and humiliates the patient’s relatives. His treatment of the relative of the patients is like they are beggars. He is overconfident and only concerned with several cases. Even if he does have the time to see the patient reports in detail.

Even my wife, when in High Dependency Unit (HDU), called me to say, “Dr is very rude and misbehaving when I ask for pain or other issues”. These are the words of the dead person.

He was unable to control the infection and various vitals of the patient. He ordered for Renal Biopsy, and the renal artery was ruptured during the test, and DR Jain and the team in the High Dependency Unit (HDU) could not detect the bleeding in time, which resulted in death in the next 48 hours.

My wife died on 12.2.2023 Sunday, and Dr Manish Kumar Jain did not visit on Sunday in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit ( SICU) to see his patent (my wife) because he was busy with family functions.

Do you think that for a doctor, family functions are more important than the life of a patent
Do you think he is capable of being called himself a Nephrologist/Renal Specialist
Do you think that you are going to take a risk by giving your relative treatment?

At last, we have lost everything in life

He is a totally unprofessional doctor a Nephrologist at apollo hospital Kolkata. One of my mother’s cousins, who was undergoing kidney transplant treatment her was passed away, lost her life in Feb 2023 due to his gross ignorant, carelessness and negligence in treatment. He treated her very badly while admitted to Intensive care units (ICU) and high dependency units (HDU). I do not understand why apollo hospital keeps such doctors. They should be suspended immediately.

Dr. Manish Kumar Jain and his team of doctors at Kolkata Apollo hospital are the worst doctors ever. My relative was admitted under the care of Dr. Manish Kumar Jain for her kidney transplant surgery. But what she got was death. He ordered a renal biopsy, the renal artery was ruptured during the procedure. Because DR. Jain and the staff of the High Dependency Unit (HDU) were unable to stop the bleeding in time, and the patient died in the next 2 days. The doctor was negligent towards her care. Before surgery, He said that she would recover quickly. But he was wrong. She didn’t survive the surgery.

I had a close friend whose mother was under the care of Doctor Manish Kumar Jain for kidney transplant treatment. Unfortunately, my friend’s mother passed away while she was being treated by him at Apollo Hospital Kolkata. I believe that Doctor Manish did not provide the necessary care to ensure her safety and well-being, and as a result, she passed away. I would not recommend Doctor Manish as a healthcare provider due to his lack of medical expertise and negligence in his treatment of my friend’s mother

Dealing with Dr. Manish Kumar Jain was a really unpleasant experience. He is very irresponsible and not a good doctor. My close friend lost his mother because of his mistake. The doctor is a total scam and fraud. My friend’s mother died after a kidney transplant. Even the patient’s families are not being treated well by the doctor and his team. The entire incident was really heartbreaking and I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Manish to anyone as he lacks the necessary skills and expertise required for such an important job.

The most unprofessional and arrogant doctor, claiming to be an excellent Nephrologist/Renal Specialist yet being no better than a general practitioner. My Aunty died at Apollo hospital Kolkota due to his incompetence in the kidney transplant operation and post-care treatment. His family claims he is so uncaring about a patient that he did not attend the hospital when she died on February 12, 2023. Only when something happens to his wife or daughters will he realise. I pray that he and his family do not suffer the same humiliation and anguish as my aunty’s family. If you want your relative to be safe, don’t go to see him for treatment. He has no time for patients and is always in a hurry. For him, life as a human being is just a small matter. Even has links with all bad facilitators for organ transplant work. He supports and pays the intermediary who gives him the organ transplant work.

My experience with Dr Manish at Apollo Hospital was completely unsatisfactory. He didn’t take the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. He was very dismissive of my complaints and made me feel like I wasn’t important. I will not be returning to him for any future medical services.

It was shocking for me to know that my teacher, who was going kidney transplant operation and post-care treatment under Dr Manish Kumar Jain, was declared dead by Apollo hospital Kolkata on 12th Feb. When I got in touch with the relatives and comes to know that all this happen due to the gross negligence of Dr Manish Kumar Jain and Dr Sanjib Majumdar. Dr Jain, so-called Nephrologist/Renal expert, totally failed to control the infection and post-operation treatment. He did not visit on 12th Feb to see the patient who died that day. A completely unprofessional and arrogant approach with patients and their relatives.

I had the unfortunate experience of witnessing my French teacher’s death at the hands of doctor Manish during a kidney operation. His carelessness and lack of attention to detail led to her death and we were all devastated. I strongly advise against using Doctor Manish as he does not provide satisfactory medical care, nor does he take the time to properly explain the risks and benefits of any procedure. I would not recommend him to anyone looking for medical care. He is not a good doctor and should be avoided at all costs.
