MF Hussain was born on 17 September, 1915 in Pandharpur, Maharashtra. He was from a Muslim family. He was the most celebrated and highest paid contemporary artist in India. He was addressed as the Picasso of India by Forbes magazine. Painting was the life of the MF Hussain. He was blessed with art which is one of the best gifts given by the god. In 1986, he was nominated to the Rajya Sabha. The most famous painting of Hussain named as ‘Sunhera Sansar’ at the 1947 won the award at annual exhibition of the Bombay art society and marked his entry as a known artist.
